Before, during, and after your run

Timing chip, info mail

Important: Only a disposable timing chip is used (no additional costs, no return, etc.). A strip to the right of the race number must be detached; the chip is attached to this strip. Detach the chip and attach it to the laces of a shoe—the chip must be attached to the shoe! The remaining strip serves as luggage identification, as the race number and name are printed on it. The chip will be handed out on site together with the remaining documents.

INFORMATION BY EMAIL TO ALL PARTICIPANTS ON 20.07.2026 in the late afternoon: After the online registration portal closes (19.07.2026 at midnight), each participant will receive an email from us with all the important information about the respective race, including their start number.

Pasta voucher, race number distribution, late registration

When and where can the pasta voucher (marathon only) be redeemed?
On Saturday, July 25, from around 11:30 a.m. at the Bavarian Red Cross stand on Morisseplatz on Kemptener Straße.

Can I register late?
Late registrations will be accepted at the same time as race numbers are issued (see times) and will be accepted until the end of race number distribution.

Where are the start and finish lines?

Where can I find an information point for details?
In the race number distribution tent, Morisseplatz/Kemptener Straße, open: Fri. 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sat. 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. and then again from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Parking spaces, clothing

Where can I find parking spaces?
Parking spaces near the start/finish area: Sparkassenparkhaus, Morisseparkplatz; the parking lot at the fairgrounds is approx. 1.5 km away ----THESE PARKING SPACES ARE SUBJECT TO A FEE1

The PARKING LOT AT THE ICE STADIUM (where you can also take a shower) is FREE OF CHARGE ON THE WEEKEND!

What should I do with my clothes?
Storage on Saturday, July 25, between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Baggage drop-off in the race number distribution tent (Morisseplatz/Kemptener Straße). The personalized baggage tag is located under the timing chip. Please note: We accept no liability for loss.

Toilets, showers, massage

Toilets and restrooms?
Toilets and portable toilets are available in the start/finish area at the Morisse parking lot/Kemptener Straße, in the Sparkasse underground parking garage, and at the train station (1,-€, 200 m from the finish line).

Are there massage facilities?
Only for marathon runners between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. – at the Therapie & Gesundheit practice, Kemptener Straße 7, therapists give massages every 15 minutes in order of arrival (no appointments).

Where can I shower?
At the ice rink (approx. 300 m from the start/finish area) and at the Füssen gym, Abt-Hafner-Straße (approx. 2 km from the start/finish point).

Food, medical support

Where are the refreshment stations along the route?
Refreshment stations are located every 5 km along the route. They offer isotonic drinks, water, bananas, and energy bars. Arrows and our running man symbol indicate the direction so that you can line up on the right or left in good time. In addition, water stations will be set up every 2.5 km from km 17.5 onwards. Cola and non-alcoholic beer will be available at the last three refreshment stations (not water stations) and at the finish line.

Medical assistance?
Yes. Bavarian Red Cross rescue workers are in constant radio contact with the control center.

Pacemaker, what will I get?

Do I know how far I've run?
Yes, kilometer markers are located at every full kilometer.

Are pacemakers used?
To be announced.

What is included in the marathon entry fee?
We are much cheaper than any major city marathon—and we've packed a lot into your starter pack. Every marathon participant can enjoy the pasta party free of charge. Timekeeping including a timing chip with gross and net time, half marathon time, personal finisher video, LIVE results service, certificate printing, online registration—we pay for all of this for you. So that you can remember what is probably the most beautiful cross-country run in Germany—a runner's gift and medal are of course also included!

Award ceremony, certificate

Where will the award ceremony take place?
In the finish area on Kemptener Straße as a flower ceremony – immediately after the 1st to 3rd place finishers in the overall rankings have crossed the finish line.

Who will be honored?
The 1st to 3rd place finishers in the overall rankings will receive a certificate, a gift basket, and cash prizes.
Important: Only those present at the award ceremony will be honored (no forwarding, etc.)!

Age groups and club rankings?
Via the results service and, of course, when printing certificates.

Will I receive a certificate?
Yes, you can print it out online. Your results will take you to both the certificate printing and the finisher video.  The results with finisher videos will be available on the internet by Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the latest  -  with gross and net times, by the way - and before that via the LIVE RESULTS SERVICE using a QR code!

Medals?
Every finisher receives one.

Fit to participate?
By registering for one of our races, you confirm that you have undergone a medical examination to ensure that you are fit to participate and that you release us from any liability claims.

After registration, it may be possible to switch to a shorter distance (without refund of the difference) or to name a replacement participant (starting place sale on your own initiative).

Both options are available until July 19, 2026, only by contacting us at info@sportstudio-fuessen.de. After that, it will only be possible on site during the bib number distribution and late registration times.

Furthermore, we refer to our registration conditions, which do not provide for a refund of the fee, even in the form of a voucher.
